 Once upon a time there was a little boywhose name was Häwelmann. He slept on atrundle bed at night and also in theafternoon when he was tired; but if hewasn't tired, his mother had to carry himaround the room in it, and he could neverget enough of it.Everything is different in the night,transformed in a sense. And so the childmeets gargoyles, talks to-nocturnal animals,dances with stars and many other fantasticcharacters. A fairytale journey through thenight, a magical adventure for all young andold star travellers.



Loosely based on the fairy tale "Der kleineHäwelmann" by Theodor Storm
